Elden Ring 2 Idea

Got bored waiting for dlc so i thought of writing somehing :)

p/s: assume the tarnished of no renown(er1) do these:

1. burn himself with frenzy flame
2. remove frenzy
3. marry ranni (age of star)
4. defeated all shardbearers and collected all great runes

story starts here

150 years, that's the reign of The Renowned.

The Renowned, Sovereign and Protector of Caria and Leyndell, and all of its realm, Warrior that bested General Radahn, Slayer of the Last Giant, Conqueror of Frenzy, Master of The Destined Death, The Third Elden Lord. His reign are coming to its end as his death approaches. Even the Master of Destined Death cannot escape from it.

For all these years, the Lands Between are free. Free from the influence of the False Will (formerly greater will) or any of the outer gods. None realise what is becoming of the land once the lord is gone. None except his queen, Queen Ranni, the Dark Moon.

As his death approaches, the outer gods claws their way back to the Lands Between. All these while, it is but the frail human body of the Lord being the one that bind and seal them away. As his final breathes are exhaled, the Formless Mother, the Goddess of Rot, the False Will, the Frenzy and even the Moon tries overtake his soul and become the lord in his stead.

Desperate, The Queen took the hammer of the former lord and shatters the Elden Ring, ending her age of stars in the Second Shattering. All that she wants are to remove the rune of death, so that her lord's death be delayed. "Afraid not my lord, I will find a way to cure you of this ailment. Even if sacrificing my own being the way it be"

Not wanting to lose more than they already have, the outer gods each grab a fragment of the shattered order; The Great Rune of Rot The Great Rune of Order The Great Rune of Frenzy The Great Rune of Blood And two managed to be kept by the Queen; The Great Rune of Moon The Destined Death

As with the old time, kingdoms started to wage war against another, in hope of claiming the Great Runes and reshape the order as to their liking.

"Heed ye Tarnished. I call upon thee not as ye lord but as ye brother. Take it! I command thee, succeed me. Take the Destined Death and kill me proper. Take the Great Rune and mend the Elden Ring. May thee see my grace, let it guide to ye journey."

The Lord, knowing of his demise did not like what Ranni did. Just like how the erdtree called upon the tarnished with its grace, the Lord uses his remaining power to grace the tarnished, dead or alive to once again journey and claim the title of elden lord.

"Hi there, a fellow tarnished I assume? Do not fear me, I am not your enemy. You can see it right? The Lord's Grace? We used to be close with each other, me and the Lord, during his journey to claim the throne. I wish I could help him now but I'm powerless. May I ask you a favor?"

"What favor?"

"Can you fulfill his destiny? Suceed him, restore the Rune of Death, kill him properly like he ask to? I am just a spirit tuner but I promise I can be of help."

"Yes"

"Great, we'll be travel partner then. As a gift, I will impart to you Torrent, the spectral steed. He used to serve the lord. He gave this to me before leaving the Roundtable Hold to ascend the throne."

Thus the journey of the new Tarnished began:)
