Questions from a potential new player

Hi guys,

Used to play eso and want to get back into MMO’s.

Have a few questions as I figure out what I wanna play, I was a fairly hardcore PvE’er doing scorepushes in ESO, but that took up way too much time in my life looking back on it so want something a little more casual that has good graphics - so far new world looks like it ticks the boxes. Just got a few questions before I pull the trigger.

• Can you transmog/dye weapons or is it only armour you can both transmog and dye?? I have a weird autistic thing about blue gear.

• Is the PvE scene evolving? I like the idea of full scale PvP focused for a change (PvP’d in eso a lot too) but I do want some endgame raid like content.

• Most importantly, I’ve heard NW has one of the lowest barriers for endgame play entry, is this true? I can’t really commit to such a massive grind as I want to keep my life and relationships outside balanced and healthy unlike when I was grinding eso.

• Greatsword build PVP and PvE viability? As well as sword and shield PvP and PvE viability?

• Are there any “cities” in the game or is it just a bunch of small towns?

• Is the endgame content they’ve added similar to standard raids in other mmo’s? Trash packs, boss, rinse and repeat?
