I’m Scared I have als
I been having symptoms for about 2 and half years now. Non stop tremor in the back of my neck making my neck stiff and dizzy feeling like a rocking motion. Brain fog and Derealization as well as increase anxiety.leg weakness that seems to get better when I eat but can still feel it it’s like a numbness but not a tingly I can still work out but when I do weight a my arms can sometimes lock up and be painful in my chest to when I do legs my legs swell up and I can barely walk. I’ve had every test under the sun brain and neck MRI, Cat scans, anti depressants, blood test everything has come back as normal. The only test I haven’t had yet is EMG test which I’m having done on Tuesday I know ALS is extremely hard to diagnose but my symptoms I have seemed so similar I was also diagnosed with TMJ by a dentist I’m now thinking that , that could also be a symptom of ALS to say I’m terrified is an understatement ndment I’ve been so scared the last few days all I can think about about is getting to Tuesday I know that there is no way anybody online can tell me anything the only hope I have is that since my tremor started 3 years ago when I was 21 and now that I’m 24 and have been able to maintain in my job as a stocker. But I also know that I’m a daily pot smoker and from what I read online there significant study’s that show that it can slow Als so I might have been unintentionally slowing down the symptoms. I’m so scared I’ve been crying for 2 days I haven’t even told my family I’ve been trying to be strong but I’m one second away from breaking down in front of my family or at work. I’m just hoping for some hope this wait is torture.
