Please can you help with stroller recommendations
Hi!
I am floored by the amount of choices for strollers.
I thought the initial travel systems were the big thing with lots of options and that once you wanted a simple stroller that they'd be a lot cheaper and just a few to choose from. I was not expecting the price of strollers!
We have a Silver Cross travel system that is taking up far too much space in our flat and in my car boot. We got that travel system second hand and I've never really rated it.
I now want rid of the lot and just want a single and compact stroller, so that I can actually start using my car boot again, except all of these strollers are like £100+ and the few that are cheaper look like they have those little plastic type wheels that I just don't feel like will be the most comfortable to push around? When my nephew was small my sister had the most awful pushchair that would barely turn corners it was so stiff so I just have the fear I think 😂
Also I see phrases like umbrella fold and realising I have no clue what I'm looking for 😂
I basically just want a compact, easy to fold stroller with a basket underneath, that is smooth and easy to push? We don't really go out that often with our boy in the silvercross one so I really don't need to spend a fortune but I also don't want to spend money on one that's really awkward to use when we do use it.
I was happy to buy second hand but there barely seems to be any local to me and the ones that are are in pretty bad condition and they're still asking for like £60 or more, one even had mould on 🥲
The cheapest one I saw that looked half decent was the Joie Nitro, but I'm just so unsure once I see how much more expensive most others are. I like the look of the Joie Litetrax but that's near £200!
Any advice welcome!! Thank you in advance. My son is 18 months old if that helps and my car is a Ford Focus 64 plate.
