Landscape & portrait wallpaper s9 ultra tab

Hello fellow galaxy users. I just got my hands on the s9 ultra tab and I'm having difficulties setting up my wallpaper and lock screen. I'm a huge visually aesthetic person and im getting frustrated trying to figure out the wallpaper..

I am using the high res pictures that Ghibli studios themselves have released. When I use it in landscape, it's perfect. When I turn to portrait, it distorts terribly. I used to be able to set a cross type selection of an image for wallpaper that's part of the settings without the use of a 3rd party app but that doesn't seem to be a thing now.

Can anyone share some tips on how I can make my wallpaper rotateable please?
