[F4A] A Sudden and Unexpected Adventure

The world can be a cruel place…you'd think it wouldn't be with all of our futures predetermined and divined years and years ago. We are constantly at war with each other, and the Zalvan Empire sought an advantage…some form of leverage to use against the kingdom of Notalla. That advantage…was me…the only child of lord Lothar Pryce. I was kidnapped for several weeks before finally being brought home. I'd tell you more about it…but I don't remember any of it, as much as I've tried. Since then, I've been locked away within the palace, not allowed to leave its grounds for any reason, learning the way of the sword to just pass the time and kill the boredom.

Worst part is…all this was in the book of prophecy…they knew it would happen…along with what comes next. But I'm sick of the prophecy determining what I can and can't do…sick of this war…sick of all of this. But what am I gonna do about it…

-//- Hi, if you made it this far and are still interested, this is the premise I had for this rp. The idea to kick things off would be simple. Your character is one from a neutral faction trying to mediate for the two major nations and is there to kill my swordsmanship mentor, another member of your order. My character would try to stop you and accidentally release magic they didn't know about, teleporting them both randomly somewhere else in the world. The goal then would shift from fighting to getting my character home and having them learn a little about the war and other nations.

I don't expect much from a partner, or at least I don't think it's too much. Just that your post is enough for me to work off of. I know I can do some low effort posts on bad days where I'm not feeling it and can understand that, but as long as I can build off your post then that makes things all the easier. The only other thing I'll ask for is communication. I like to know what's going on and talk if I can, so if I'm gonna vanish for a few days or something has come up and I can't post for a while, I'd be sure to let you know and expect the same. I am used to playing a slew of characters and am looking for someone who isn't afraid to do the same.
