Psychiatrist isn't answering my e-mails or calls

Since 14th December I can't reach my psychiatrist. I've been out of meds for at least 2 weeks now, and every single call and e-mail has gone unanswered. It's like he dropped off the face of the earth...

I've been at this psychiatrist since August, and the refills worked well over e-mail till now... I just can't fathom why and how he can just be out of office for such a long time without notifying his patients? (here most psychiatrists work in private offices and have no reception)

I've already talked to my GP and she also found it odd. She unfortunaly can't prescribe me my meds so now I am waiting for either my current psychiatrist or a new one. But I'd need documentation of my diagnosis desperatly and he's still not answering...

This is so frustrating and I hate being dependant on some person that can just disappear at will. Has anyone had similar experiences?
