First scooter - recommendations? 125cc / 6'3" / UK / £2000

I plan on completing my CBT (compulsory basic training) shortly and I'm looking for my first 125cc scooter. I'm hoping you can help point me in the right direction.

About me: I'm a male, 6'3" tall, and weigh approx 95kg. I live in the UK.

Planned use: Mostly commuting to/from work - about 5 miles each way. Occasional longer trips too. Most of the time I'll be carrying a large backpack storing laptop and accessories, lunch box, notepad, pens etc.

Route: Primary route is mostly 30mph, with some 50mph parts, but nothing higher than that. It would be good if one could get me to 60mph if I ever need to go on a dual carriageway.

Cost: Because it'll be my first scooter I'd like to buy used - £2,000 would be my target upper limit, but £2,500 is my hard limit.
