Am I Demi or is this something else?

I discovered the word demisexual like 10 minutes ago. I’ve known what asexual is and that I’m definitely not that but when I was trying to understand a part of myself better I stumbled into this and I’m trying to understand it better. For a little background I was raised very religiously and although I still hold onto many of my religious views I’m a lot more liberal in the sense that I kinda see everything from the lens of “people can do whatever they want even if I don’t agree with it, it’s there business.” One thing that’s always bothered me though and does only more and more as I get older is the idea of casual sex. Just the idea of it bothers me especially in relationships. I’m still a virgin and I don’t necessarily see that as a problem but I get uncomfortable thinking about how many people, especially people I might be interested in dating, have possibly had many sexual experiences with other people simply for pleasure or for a fun time. I have a friend who I recently had a very open sexual conversation with where she told me all the experiences she had and although it didn’t change my perspective on her inherently I’ve kinda used that as a foundation of how much stuff any potential partner I might end up with could have had with other guys and it makes me feel sick and anxious. In most other respects I consider myself to be fairly confident, even a little cocky but this is the one thing that really bothers me.

The idea of sex itself doesn’t bother me at all infact I believe myself to have a very high sex drive and would really like to be intimate with someone. But for me any kind of sexual relationship I’d need to have with someone would need to be serious. I couldn’t hook up with someone after a couple dates or even just because I’m horny not because I wouldn’t want to but because I don’t think I could simply walk away from that interaction as if it was nothing more than a fun activity. I think this affects my dating life as well as I rarely have intrest in even making an effort because I mostly assume many woman I’m attracted to have many casual sexual experiences and I don’t want to get attached and then deal with that anxiety. I feel like this is a problem and also ads a layer of fear and jealousy as well as an unreasonable and toxic mindset in a relationship. It particularly bothers me at this moment because there’s a girl I really want to make an effort with but I’m hesitating because I don’t want to try and reconnect with her simply because I feel she’s a very casually sexual person and I’m not. I seriously don’t know what to do about this. I don’t think losing my virginity would make any difference and I really doubt therapy would do much (I’ve been to therapy for similarly bothersome issues already)
