How to make my LO take a nap?

My 3-month-old is a very light sleeper. Even when he's tired and trying to fall asleep, he keeps moving his limbs involuntarily and that keeps waking him up. I swaddle him at night and he gets sound sleep. But what should I do about day times? He keeps cat napping the entire day.
