How are you feeling, baby? How’s my best boy?

Oh nonsense, you’re never too old for your mum to look after you. I’ve brought you a nice cup of tea and some hot chicken soup.

Yes, you need to eat no matter how poorly sick you feel. ‘Feed a cold and starve a fever’, as they say. And if we want to get rid of that nasty cold you have, then you need to eat. Let me sit this down next to you. And then… plump up your pillow so you can sit up.

That’s better, my sweet sniffly boy. Now, do I have to feed this to you like when you were little? Because mummy will. And don’t forget the tea either, I’ve put lots of honey in it so it’s extra sweet. It will slide right down and help with that poor throat of yours.

Well, of course I have to look after you, you’re my son...

You, dear listener, have been poorly sick all day after coming home late in this freezing weather. You're so lucky that mummy (guess who?) is here to make you feel all better again. I am determined to use everything at my disposal to help my handsome son get back on his feet. And if that means sucking the nasty germs out, then of course mummy is here to help...

u/77Dogday and I were having a chat this morning about how cold it is and how many people are sick. We were musing on what would be a nice fantasy if ill in bed. This script and audio is the result - 10 hours from idea to audio post! I feel so lucky to have such great friends in this world and to mix smut in with a normal work day as if it is the most natural thing in the world. This also happens to be my 600th audio posted on reddit. I hope you enjoy it!
