Scam

I received a request at McDonald’s for 1 sauce packet. Weird but whatever. Delivery to an address I found out no one lives at currently thanks to the mailman being right there upon my arrival. Then I received a call from someone claiming to work for Uber and told me this was a test order to verify my identity because a previous customer claimed I didn’t match my profile. He even said some customers will try to get a free meal so we just need to verify you so you don’t lose your payment. Then he said for the inconvenience Uber will pay me $45 and in order to do so he just needs to verify the card number I have on my account. I thought that was strange and I didn’t even have a card number on my account. I said I do not give my card information to someone that calls ME. He said add your card and cash out and you’ll see why I need it. Okay dude….i added my card and cashed out, smooth sailing. I said it’s all set he’s like okay I need your card number to verify. I said time to kick rocks loser and hung up. I called Uber to let them know and after several transfers and incompetence I got to someone that notated it, hopefully they will delete his account but I’m sure it’s only a speck of sand in a beach.
