How are we supposed the teach the new players when they don't have mics?

I just joined 3 different games on console. Nobody... I mean nobody had a mic. I asked multiple times and nobody responded.

Everybody is posting about how us veterans are supposed to teach the new players but how are we supposed to do that when they can't even hear us?...
