Memory Loss/Shivering

NSFWTrip Report

I took Molly at a festival a few weeks ago. It was from someone new but friends trusted. Previously, I only ever had pressed pills. This was loose powder- I bought right before the show and didn't test it. Many mistakes made by me for sure but want to see if it was user error vs product.

First day I didn't eat before and took maybe 60-80mg in total (I usually only need 80-130mg to get a really solid roll). One of many mistakes was not being sure how to use powder- I tried to snort a little (ouch don't do it friends). Then after an hour went back for more and just licked it and chugged water that time. Shortly after I thought I was starting to roll but instead got super cold and was shivering uncontrollably. Felt like I was going to pass out (which I occasionally do sober so wasn't that alarming) so I sat and tried to eat. Rest of the night went OK other than being freezing. No roll but guessing it's because I didn't take enough.

Second day was the bad one. I was tired and still shivering from previous night. I took maybe around 100mg by licking and chugging water. Maybe 30 minutes later- I blacked out. I have no recollection of anything for hours. I was able to piece things together from my friends and texts. Basically I didn't feel great and went to sit down. Still shivering. Apparently a friend came and found me and I didn't recognize him at first. He took me to sit somewhere else and I fell asleep there. Woke up feeling a bit better (remember most parts of the night after this) other than being cold and still shivering. Never rolled or anything. Guy who sold it came over to talk to him at one point when I was sleeping so I can't imagine he would have done if something was up.

I did test it once I got home. Only test that seemed off was Simon's came up as a muddy brown/green color which said MDA rather than MDMA. I wouldn't think MDA would cause the blackouts, cold, lack of rolling?

Overall was it purely user error (buy capsules- I know now haha)? Has anyone experienced anything similar? Should I toss the rest of this?

TIA
