Doing Well
I am a man smack dab in the middle of the millennial cohort. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder several years ago. Most of the time, I am only distantly aware of the fact that I have this diagnosis. I take medication everyday. I am happily married, and my wife and I just celebrated the birth of our first child. I believe I have a good life, and I am generally optimistic about the future.
I think it's funny and a little sad how my mother, when she calls, will still say to me how well she thinks I am doing considering everything I have been through.
