Am I the only one that hates the show’s casting

I feel like there’s been so many missed opportunities that could’ve brought the characters more to life. I think Joel and Ellie aren’t embodied well at all in terms of looks and “energy”. Not to mention they completely changed the race of Maria who was one of my favourite characters (if someone calls me racist I’m not even gonna respond) It all just feels either L ike a rush job or they really wanted to stray away from the game which personally is not what I was looking forward to. Lmk ur thoughts.
