Pet Peeve on Wikipedia

So when you go to an ongoing tournament's Wikipedia page and go to the list of events choose an event (such as men's singles), it links to the previous year's tournament because its under a list of defending champions. This listing used to link to the current year's event and still listed the defending champions. I don't know if I'm the only one that finds this super irritating but I just wanted to rant about it.
