Can you travel from NL to Germany by plane just with an endorsement sticker and a return visa?

Need to go on a business trip from NL to Germany, still waiting for my residence card, so only have an endorsement sticker and a return visa to go back to NL. Is it enough or will I get into trouble on my way to Germany if checked? (it will be a flight, most likely)
