Getting from airport to city center

Hi everyone!

I'm visiting Copenhagen in April. I was wondering what the most cost-effective way of getting from the airport to the city center (and vice-versa) would be. It seems like airport shuttles are very expensive, and I would like to avoid spending too much money on transportation. :)
