Does scam baiting eventually get you blacklisted by scammers?

Just wondering if people who scam bait a lot eventually get less calls because most of the major call centres blocked their numbers? I'm sick and tired of all these scam calls and if I can reduce them by messing with them a bit that'd be a win.
