Does anyone else have weird impulses before their period?

I just want to know if anyone else gets these impulses before their period.

Here are some examples of things I wanted to do before getting my period (although having no interest in these things outside of the sudden impulse). Whenever this happens I genuinely want to do these things listed below, but as soon as I get my period and get a clear head again the desire vanishes because as I said, these things are not something I'm actually interested in.

• join the military
• join the special forces
• adopt a German shepherd
• start dressing differently
• move to a different country
• become a lawyer and many more such things...
