Need Help Finding (Danish?) Loaf Recipe.

Hello! I used to work at an Asian bakery and my boss would make this amazing bread. The closest thing I could find that resembles it is a Danish loaf, like this one here: https://oladybakes.com/2021/09/11/danish-loaf/

I'm not sure if that's what it was though, and was hoping someone might be able to reassure me that it is or maybe know of something similar to it that's different, and may have recipe suggestions? My best description of what the loaf was like is this: the outside crust was crispy/flaky like a croissant, the inside was light and sweet like Easter bread, and the bottom was buttery and crisp and tasted like an Auntie Ann's Pretzel.

I've asked for her recipe, but she claims she cannot find it. She didn't sell it in her bakery because she said it was too time consuming, which I totally understand. Her bakery is no longer in operation and I used to ask her to make it for me whenever coming into town (I live an hour and a half away) but she says she no longer has the equipment to make it anymore.

Can anyone share a recipe like this so I can try making it at home? Thank you in advance!
