About Aruzona Blondes ( Aphonopelma chalcodes )

Can I have one of these in South africa or will I just be torturing the poor thing and if not what other species besides king baboon can I keep I would like a good starter tarantula as I only have my baboon spider and it's looking good so far but I'm not sure what else I should keep that can thrive in these hot climates of mine.
