A week after the surgery

Hi, I did my both jaws correction surgery on Tuesday in Berlin and I must say that I definitely underestimated the pain post OP. It’s been a week and I’m still taking painkillers at least three times a day plus two shots at night. The nights are the cruelest as there is no way of finding a comfortable sleep position without pressing on my swollen cheeks. The bruising is receding but very slowly and I barely have energy to do 5 minutes walking with my dog. All I want to do is sleep but sleep is physically hurtful. All I want now is a plate of french fries but for now can only eat the ketchup 🥺 Just wanted to post here to salute everyone went through this process and this pain!
