Female armor is stupid

There are so many cool female armor sets, but the developers insist on having exposed thighs in 90% of them. It makes no sense and ruins the entire sets. What’s wrong with having armor that protects the legs? You can signal that the armor is female by having a slimmer waist and adding other details. I’m not even against having some armors that expose a lot of skin, but these armors don’t even do that. They look completely normal except for that sliver of upper thigh. It’s so stupid!
