What are the thoughts on MH Rise?

I have recently bought the MH Rise and it is my first game in the saga that I have since the MH 4 Ultimate for the 3DS.

I have been far from the series for many years and I have been informing myself about the fandom's opinion about this game. They are all varied and very divided.

What is the general opinion of the fandom about this game as a modern MH?
