[WSIB] Looking for a cool game to play as a mercenary with friends.

Context: I am a part of a small group of maybe 6 or 7 people who enjoy pretty much any type of game. Recently, I had the idea that we should all get together on a game and play as mercenaries for hire and do bounties or anything else that comes our way. The game needs to support most PC's as some of us aren't on the best specs at the moment, and preferably supports controller but it's not mandatory.

A space/desert sort of theme would also be nice, but again, not mandatory.

Apologies if the criteria are too rigorous. :)
