ROG Ryujin II embedded fan Question

For a couple month I've had an issue with the embedded fan (it makes an abnormally loud noise) but in windows I've been able to shut the fan down so it didn't bother me anymore. But recently I decided to switch to Linux and the noise started back up. I am willing to give up that feature but I don't know which cable to remove from the motherboard or how to remove (Unplug) the fan if it is necessary.

P.S. I tried to contact ASUS and do an RMA but there was no contact info on amazon and MANY people said it ended up nowhere when contacting them so I gave up on that and considering that I've had the AIO for a while now I don't think it is a viable option anymore.
