Do Gen X dislike doctors?

Older Millennial here dating a Gen X woman. She never wants to go to the doctor no matter how bad she feels. I have never been around anyone who wont go to the doctor pretty much no matter what. How can you convince a Gen X person to go to the doctor? I dont like going either, but its better than just guessing on your own.
