Hello all. Please excuse posting this here but I hope if you stick with it you’ll see why and find something of interest, especially as level headed people.

Ive just launched a new fundraiser for a short film project exploring power dynamics and the cult of personality in today’s society, framed within the 2024 political election (how timely). We find ourselves with fictional candidate Nathan Stanaway, great hair and better teeth. Someone who has honed their godly family man image whilst raging a campaign of inflamed speech and hypocrisy. We see just how false his public image is and it becomes dangerously obvious he is none of the things his rampant fans believe him to be.

We’re a small but diverse team and the project is aimed at graduates and those from backgrounds who don’t get opportunities to develop their creative craft or access to opportunities in the industry. We don’t have a large social media footprint. So I’m asking those who can to share it into new circles to find new people who might be willing to invest in what we hope to be a conversation starter.

For me, as a Scotsman and filmmaker, I wanted to be President when I was like 8. When I discovered I couldn’t I was devastated but it continued to inspire my love of America and interest in politics. The way people treat each other, blindly follow and act is scary and this short response to this.
