Should I find new friends?

I’ve had my struggles over finding long term friends due to many reasons. This time I have felt comfortable enough to open up to my friends and I might have made everything awkward because I can tell they feel somewhat uncomfortable around me and often leaving me out on things. And how can you find friends with the same interests and is compatible with you?
