Apple CarPlay Wireless Issues

I have seen some post and threads with the same issue.

For months wireless Apple CarPlay worked flawlessly. One day it stopped and I get a message to turn on WiFi, after selecting ok, a message says that it cannot connect phone.

I have tried, factory resetting, forgetting the car in Bluetooth, turning phone off and on, extended hold of the power button, nothing is working. It does work via wire, but the wireless is such a convenience.

Any step by step processes to try would be greatly appreciated!
