I'm ghosting her to pursue my career

I'm (19m) there's this girl(22) we've been friends for years(but not that close). Whole of 2023 I dedicated it to learn forex so I ghosted everyone and dissapeared. Christmas night we met at church and started talking her but what I noticed the same night she really gave green lights, just wanted me to ask her out , the next day I did we went on a hike and she was really into me. Things went so fast on 27th she confessed to be in luv with me. I didn't say anything just said I need time, cause I was scared. Scared, yeah! I'm kind of person when I fall in luv I'll be totally blinded and won't do anything constructive apart from thinking of her. Plus I had planned to do a 2 month course on plant operation. So I told her I don't want attachment, till I'm done with my 2 months course but she kept talking to me about our future etc romantic stuff. After a week I told same thing I don't want to talk/see you because I'll be busy focusing, but instead she did continue calling me everytime, wanting to meet up etc. Yet she did her course and graduated. After seeing it's too much now I don't reply any of texts/calls because I won't concentrate or learn anything when I'm attached. I love her so much and promised her to do all those romantic stuff when I'm done with my course but she doesn't understand that I need space to focus. So I don't know fellow redditors , am I doing the wrong thing ghosting her for 2 moths yet she's aware to give me space for some personal development.
