Doe anyone else get annoyed with the all or nothing approach of the thresholds?

There are so many great expensive courses available to people earning up to £30k but it feels a bit odd to completely withdraw them at £31k.

I love the concept and it's obviously helpful but a lot of the courses can be £1k. The idea that people on £31k have that to spare for training seems bonkers to me.

I do think some of these brilliant social mobility ideas are their own worst enemies with the thresholds that are put in place. It's not that I think it should be a free for all, just that they need to stop being all or nothing with it all.
