Warlord's headbutt is one of the worst bashes now
To begin with, it lost the advantage of being quicker/less reactable than other bashes when the speeds were standardised, and simultaneously lost its ability to "self-loop frame advantage" which stings in terms of flow as I will outline later. Although it's a rare luxury, it's worth mentioning it does not chain on miss. Why does it matter? Because if the opponent reads correctly, you eat a GB. So the potential loss is getting GB'd which allows your opponent to start their chain of attacks. What's the potential gain? One measly attack which does not chain. Meaning you can't really use this opener to start your offense, as it ends right there. But alright, having only lackluster openers might not be the end of the world for a hero that has good chain pressure. Oh wait, Warlord has *no* chain pressure, featuring only attacks that are completely reactable and never need to be parried or dodged. Leaving you with - you guessed it - the opener that is anemic for the reasons outlined. I am not claiming the Headbutt is unusable, or not "unreactable offense". However, it is a high-risk, low-reward form of unreactable offense that does not lead to chain pressure even on success. At the end of the day, Warlord still has great defensive options, but damn does he lack the tools to do much else.
