Should they readapt the Fleming novels for the next iteration of Bond?
Now that (spoiler) James Bond is dead, could it be a viable option to start adapting the original Fleming novels again? I was thinking it might be cool if they went back to the source material, and set the new movies in the same year each novel is actually set. Afterall, Bond is a relic of the cold war era...
They could also do them in order and try be as faithful to Fleming's telling of the story as possible. But since Daniel Craig did Casino Royale, I suggest they begin with LIVE AND LET DIE. Any thoughts on this, or is better to just stick with the modern day setting and new stories? It seems to me that enough time has passed to readapt them, or perhaps it's better to just leave them alone? Or is it just a matter of time? Thoughts?
