If you have sold an item, MARK IT AS SOLD.
I've been trying to find a car for a while now and found a pretty nice one that needs a new motor, but would ultimately cost less to fix than buying something ready to drive. Listed 2 months ago, I didn't think too much of it since it wasn't a drivable vehicle. Sent a message just asking for exact mileage and if they had any pictures of the interior. It's been three days and I haven't received any response at all. I can only assume they already sold it and never bothered to remove the listing or update it's status. Whatever the reason, I'm a little peeved that this is a prevalent issue amongst sellers. I've had this happen many times. Stop wasting everybody's time. If you're not going to sell it, delete it. If you're not going to respond to people's messages, don't post listings. If someone already came and bought it, make sure the post reflects that. Wasting everyone's time is not cool. It's not considerate. It's rude. (This is obviously not addressed to the good sellers of marketplace. Thank you for your considerate service)
