Am I mean?

My mother has PTSD from an attempted murder and we were watching Six Feet Under and she started having a flashback during a scene where David gets kidnapped. I wanted to watch the scene so I refused to fast-forward it. It's been almost two years and she still gets flashbacks. Am I a bad son?
