Is this drive/travel safe?
I work in Tualatin this week and I live in N. Portland. I only have a car with two-wheel drive (I'm from California... give me a break) I am expected to travel to work tomorrow for a short shift at 4:30 pm and I don't get to leave until 8:30 pm. Is it even worth it to drive or take the bus tomorrow? I got caught in that snowstorm last February on my way home from work and I don't want to be stranded or even worse... end up in a car accident. My place of employment has been closing early and or not opening up at all the past few days due to the snow & ice storm. I can't even leave my apartment without possibly slipping around on the ice that's quite literally right outside of my apartment.
Please be nice, I'm still "new" to the brutal winters of Portland and I'm just asking for some advice.
