Generational differences

How significant are generational differences in the gay community? I have noticed that everybody these days clings hard to their own generation, and constantly dumps on other generations. I think i first noticed it with the rise of tiktok. Everyone is constantly at each other’s throats for having different views, opinions, etc..I do have to admit that I am a little guilty of this. I’m a gen z and sometimes i just can’t help myself and laugh at some millennials, but that doesnt mean i despise them. It’s really not that serious. On the other hand, I haven’t noticed any major issues between generations in the gay community. So my question is, if the gay community is more indifferent to these generational gap’s than other people? And if so, why?
