2nd Chance?

I recently applied for a GS12 position in S.Korea. I was recommended to the hiring authority, interviewed, and was offered a TJO.

Since I live in the Philippines, a US citizen and Army veteran with discharge last year (honorable), I would be considered a “local hire” and would not receive LQA or PCS entitlements of my HHG/UB in Texas (where I ETS’d last year).

I turned the job down due to not receiving these benefits but, I have had some second thoughts, and reached back out to HR and asked if the job, or anything else like it, were still available?

As I am still awaiting a response, and regardless of decision, has anyone else reached back out to HR, like me, after having second thoughts? How did it work out for you?
