Any regrets?

Hello!

I'm 33 with Stage 4 endo. I've just had my last injection of zoladex and have trialled 2 x HRT (femiston conti and tibolone). Unfortunately it hasn't been as successful as I'd hoped (bleeding over 50% of the time the last 6 months, pain returning etc) and I'm now leaning toward plan B which is endo excision surgery and hysterectomy (leaving ovaries). I'm not worried about surgery or recovery, I've had a few big surgeries from the endo including removal of 15cm of bowel which was 6 weeks recovery.

My concerns are about regrets... As far as we can tell from imaging, I don't have adenomyosis and so that's my only hesitation about the hysterectomy as I know it's not a cure for endo but is a cure for adeno. I have very heavy bleeding and large clots that are very painful to pass, so my specialist is still happy to consider it for symptom control knowing it's not a cure. I've tried Mirena x 2 (both expelled within the first month due to my heavy bleeding and cramping), the pill, and now the zoladex so it's not like I haven't tried more conservative methods.

I'd like to know people's thoughts post-OP. I know things are scewed on Reddit towards the bad but hoping a poll might give me a decent picture. happy for anecdotal evidence to be added as a comment but please vote in the poll. Thank you!
