My moms brother has a gambling addiction and is begging for 20,000 dollars even though we gave him so many chances

So my mom’s brother (52 years old) let’s just say he’s a lazy piece of shit that only drinks and gambles money. Thankfully he doesn’t live here and lives in our home country.

But over the past years he always asks our family for money all the fucking time. And my mom is too nice and sends him money. My dad told me that he visited him and gave him 600$ usd (which is worth a lot in his country) as courtesy and told him to stop gambling and ruining his life. You know what he does next week? He asks my dad on the phone if he could put OUR HOUSE in our home country UNDER HIS NAME. (We let him live in our house there because he sold so many houses to cover his gambling expenses, and had no other place to live).

So my dad just ghosted him. Recently he just asked our family for 20,000$. Even though we are a little of the higher class, we still worked our asses off for the money. And my shitty uncle promised so many times that he would stop gambling but always back for begging for more.

And my mom and dad just argued because dad said he’s not sending a penny and mom wants to help her sweet little brother (why the fuck is she doing that? I don’t know)

Her little brother has been a piece of shit, her parents treat him like a king, his degree was bought illegally, he beat up his ex wife, he has 2 children he doesn’t give a shit about and steals money from grandma. I honestly want him dead. Dad also told me 10 years ago when he visited us, he threatened to beat up my mom if she didn’t give him money for his expenses, and dad heard it and when dad walked in, he stopped like the little pussy he is.

Now my mom is making a “Wise” account (some e transfer company) and is using my phone number for verification code to setup the account so dad doesn’t notice. She also doesn’t want me to know about the situation at all (I only knew this was happening because dad told me in private).

What do I do. How do I possibly stop my mom from this stupid action.
