do you often find yourself thinking about what you SHOULD have said AFTER the job interview?

originally i just responded with "i understand why you would want your company to follow a strict guidelines and expect your employees to showcase the right image." when she asked "what do you take away from everything i just told you?"

but really what i should have SAID to that lady was:

"i think what you just told me is a pile of bullshit. you say you would have wanted me to wear a ponytail for the interview because it presents better than hair laid back, but you're not wearing a ponytail and neither is your colleague next to us who actually seems nice yet she is an employee too.

you told me i wasn't smiling enough in this interview and that it was a problem for a selling job (in a bakery) like that, yet you've got 3 employees downstairs and 2 of them have not smiled ONCE since i came into this shop and yet they have been polite and served the clients well from what i saw while waiting for you while you were late. they haven't smiled once and yet you employ them still and they seem efficient enough so no i don't think you have to force a huge smile on your damn face to be nice to clients and serve croissants and coffee.

but you would probably not notice the difference because i don't think you've been behind a counter in years and that stick up your ass has gotten so deep you lost sight of reality.

and yes cashier (the previous job i had) may not be the epitome of success and you may have a lot more work to do in your bakery, yet knowing that and saying that to my face you still propose the same salary as a supermarket cashier for twice the job.

dumb bitch.
