[Troubleshooting] Just received a new set of keycaps for my Filco, right shift keeps sticking randomly. Any advice?
As the title said i've received a set of white Ducky PBT keycaps for my Filco, which have been great aside from one rather annoying problem. The right shift sticks down every so often, mostly when i press too hard on the left side. After pulling off the keycap i come to the conclusion that for some reason the left white-plastic-stabiliser thingy won't stay in the keycap. I've tried switching them around to see if the problem would persist, but the problem is still there indicating to me that the problem is with the cap itself, and not the stabilisers.
Is there anything i can do to keep the stabiliser in the keycap? Or am i S.o.l? Has anyone every experienced something similar?
Thanks in advance.

You probably put the little white adapter pieces for the stabilizer on the back if the keycap backwards, they go a certain way.
Nope, i definitely have them on the right way, because otherwise the key wouldn't even fit between the other keys properly. As i said, this is only a problem that occurs with the right shift, all the other keys have the stabilizers oriented the exact same way but those don't give me any problems.
It's quite possible to have them the wrong way round and still fit - I had this happen on the spacebar of my Filco TKL for months before I realised why it felt so weird!
Nah i just flipped them over for good measure and the key wouldn't go up after i pressed it down, i definitely have them the right way around. I think i figured out the problem, the little white inserts just don't "Snap" into place at all. They just kinda slide into place with no give or tension whatsoever. I guess that's why they keep sliding out. I guess i'll just use my stock right shift then :/
Hmmmm.... not sure then, are the stabs firmly clicked into their spots on the board itself?
Just humor the subreddit and switch them so they face the other way, this has happened to my backspace key
