Should I stay or should I go? 8 week report

So, I did 50mg for a month. My depression got a little better. My anxiety, not so much. Doc put me on 100mg, which I’m about to finish a month of. My depression is gone, but my anxiety is SO BAD. She suggested from day 1 that she thinks Effexor will be better cause it works better on anxiety and wants me to make the move. Should I give the pristiq more time? Ughhhhhh! Thanks, peeps.
