I want a cheap tablet I can watch movies (that I’ve downloaded from my laptop) on. What do you recommend?

I’ve been using an iPad for years but when I move files from my Windows laptop to Google Drive, they rarely open when I open drive on my iPad and they take hours to transfer.

So what are some good quality cheapest options? Amazon Fire? And will I be able to transfer the movies from my laptop to the tablet with a USB?
