Nelly piercing is put on the wrong way- should i flip it?

I know im going to get hate for this, but i pierced my belly button at home like 3 or 4 months ago, and when i pierced it, I accidentally put the jewelry in the wrong way… ( big ball ontop, small ball on the bottom ) And when I pierced it I felt like passing out so i decided to just put it in and lay down. I knew that you aren’t supposed to take it out that early, so I just left it in. So now its in the wrong way and its been like that for some months. So should i take it out and put it in the other way? And also i know thats it is a bad idea to pierce it urself, and i dont recommend anyone else doing it without being a professional.
