AWOL writer: Cal Matthews

He wrote three books -- the werewolf novel Lupine Road, and the first two installments, The Dead and Boneyard, of an m/m series called Thaumaturge, in which the lovers are a man who can raise the dead, and a vampire. His website's gone and in his last response to a reader q on GR he said he hoped to have the third installment of Thaumaturge done in 2019.

All three books are really good and none of them seems to be available anywhere anymore. I borrowed them from KU ages ago and wish I'd just bought the damn things -- thankfully my downloads still exist.

A link exists to an old tweet in which he mentions being depressed. I hope he's well, even if he never writes another book again -- but I surely do hope he's able to go back to writing someday. Anyone happen to know what he's up to?
