Blue screen of death.
Why would you want that :S ?
Tabbed file browsing, better text rendering and a toned down variant of Metro for desktop PCs.
Tabbed file browsing would be nice, but i would settle for really good window management. For example, If i could easily split my desktop up in to 8 sections, and plop an application into each one i would be very happy.
An actual revamped interface. Little details like... I don't know, pay the guys at iconfactory and make them produce a new set of icons instead of recycling the same crap over and over again.
No underlying legacy bullshit.
No stupid attempts of touch interface on my desktop or laptop.

I doubt that Microsoft will go back on their decisions. Removing the start button helps them to force the Metro interface upon you.
again a normal interface
not something that looks like it was designed by a 3 years old in ms paint.. Seriously i dont understand why almost all site's are now changing there pages into a windows 8 interface
BTW why do company's still make high def screens?
A relational file system.
Not to sound like a noob, but could you explain what that is?
